The IBOMADE clearance height control system automatically detects vehicle height and reliably warns drivers when their vehicle exceeds the permitted clearance height. It is part of the IBOMADE LVMS network – a connected platform for the central, real-time monitoring and control of all traffic safety devices. Multiple units can be coordinated, switched remotely and monitored simultaneously – from anywhere, at any time.

How does the height control work?
Every passing vehicle is measured automatically. If a vehicle exceeds a certain height, a signal is sent to the variable-message signs.
What does the driver see after the measurement?
An LED variable-message sign a short distance ahead shows whether the vehicle can pass the obstacle or is too high. The driver is offered the exit and a detour is displayed.
Can the measuring height be adjusted?
Yes. The sensor can be adjusted continuously up or down, so the system can be used for tunnels or bridges of any height.
How is the system monitored remotely?
The height control system is part of the IBOMADE LVMS network. Several units can be coordinated, switched and monitored remotely at the same time.
