Traffic census and traffic data recording

Precise counting. Valid data. In real time.

Made in Germany

Precise. Connected.Automated.

Automatic. Connected. Always available.

The IBOMADE system for traffic census and traffic data recording measures vehicle volumes, speeds and classifications in real time. All data flows directly into the LVMS platform – reliable, energy self-sufficient and available around the clock.

Frequently asked questions

Short and clear answers.

How large is the measuring range?
The radar sensor measures over about 220 metres and covers up to six lanes in two directions simultaneously.
How accurate is the measurement and how many vehicles are recorded?
Speed is recorded to an accuracy of one kilometre per hour. The sensor measures up to 130 objects simultaneously and distinguishes eight vehicle groups.
What is the traffic data used for?
For traffic censuses, checking traffic utilization and wrong-way driver detection, as well as within the mobile congestion warning system (mSWA).
How is the data transmitted?
The control unit transmits the data to the IBOMADE cloud; it flows directly into the LVMS platform.
